It is always spine tingling to hear of clients getting the most from the ProCoach online coaching programme I offer.

When my clients first approach me for help with nutrition and health, and they tell me about their goals and background, there’s always a sense of ‘I’m not good enough’ or ‘nothing will work – I’m too old and I’ve tried everything’, or even ‘this’ll never work – I have no motivation’.

And it’s not surprising after years – decades – of trying, yo-yoing, restricting, and following the next big thing, they have come to believe they will never have the confidence, energy and feel how they want. Yet they do want it – after all they’ve been trying for years!

Here’s the thing though; to successfully achieve a health and fitness goal, be it weight loss, health or performance, you don’t have to be the most talented or motivated person.

You just have to start, and you’ve got to understand that consistency is king. Consistency trumps all else. Consistency trumps perfection. Consistency trumps the best programme, fancy supplement or wild diet promise.

My clients who experience the biggest life changing results are those who understand that having a goal is important, but focusing on the daily practices that will result in that goal being achieved is the most important thing. They focus on the practice, and they consistently show up, day in, day out.

I’ve just heard this story of a ProCoach coaching client so I thought I’d share it as inspiration. Please read on about this 51 year old mother who was the least confident in her ability to change!

She almost didn’t start because she was so embarrassed to give numbers or share progress. After eleven months she has been a superstar, not only reclaiming her physical health but her emotional health as well.

Here’s an insight into her journey:

I would like to take this time to thank my coach and online coaching program.

Eleven months ago I was completely out of touch in many areas of my life. I was stressed, overweight and couldn’t for the life of me pull myself out of the deep, agonizing rut I was in. I had the opportunity to join this program and thought that I had to give it a shot.

Within the first month, I was learning new habits and my mindset was slowly changing for negative thoughts to positive thoughts which led me to new habits that changed my lifestyle.

It was important to me to take the first few moments of each morning to read my lesson and practice the habit and before long I was seeing and feeling changes in my body and mindset.

Just when I thought I couldn’t possibly learn anymore, a new lesson was in front of me and I was determined to practice it until it became a habit.

I’m extremely grateful that I was given the opportunity to do this program. Even when life got busy I never gave up and I’ve reached every goal I set out to do. I’ve lost 30 pounds and feel healthier than I ever thought possible.

Thank you to everyone who has had a part in making this life-changing experience possible for me. It has truly changed my life which in turn changed the lives of my entire family!
