Always something.

Have you ever gone all-in on a goal, only to fizzle out after a few weeks?

Me too!

I’ve discovered that this ‘all or nothing’ approach to achieving a goal rarely works, and normally ends up with ‘nothing’.

Think:

– extreme crash diets
– eliminating entire food groups
– ridiculous training or exercise regimes

Give yourself a break!

An ‘always something’ approach may not sound as spectacular as the all-out effort of a crash diet or boot camp approach to achieving a fitness and health goal.

But, as the saying goes, ‘we are what we consistently do’.

Taking an ‘always something’ approach to your life’s goals, be it in health and fitness, career, or as I’m learning, any aspect of your life, is what will result in long term sustainable change and a goal well reached.

About the Author Nico Valla

I'm a parent, teacher, coach — and I’ve lived the burnout spiral myself.

In 2019 stress landed hard with chest pain, a scary ECG moment and the realisation that something had to change. I rebuilt my health through sleep, stress regulation, nutrition and sensible movement — not pills.

Since then I’ve coached hundreds of people to do the same. This programme bundles the tools I wish I’d had sooner so you can get back to feeling human again.
