How Can I Help?

Tell Me About Remote Coaching

Why Remote Coaching?

I work remotely with clients all over the country. Since working from private studio for 8 years I found that my clients naturally became online clients.

They found that the benefits include:

  • Less travel time and time spent meeting in person, and arranging appointments.
  • In addition the superior support and accountability provided by online training was getting better results
  • As a client you’re not limited to the training with a local fitness professional, who may not be the right fit for you. You have better choice.
  • And finally it becomes much more affordable for clients on long term programmes.

For these reasons for two years now I’ve been working exclusively online.

I understand this may seem like unfamiliar territory for you and I think it important that you experience it to see if it’ll work for you. For this reason I offer a free period so you can ‘try before you buy’ with no obligation to continue if it’s not right for you.

Remote coaching delivers more than just a “12 week exercise plan” or “30 day challenge”. I help you build skills so you can maintain the results, and so old habits don’t creep back in after the initial goal has been met.

How Does The Free Taster Work?

Offering you a free taster is the right thing to do. The best way to discover if online coaching and personal training is right for you is to ‘try before you buy’.

No Contract - Ever

Your health and fitness journey is very important to both of us. In order to work together it has to be the ‘right fit’ for both of us.

I am very confident that you will want to stick around and continue to receive online personal training services. If however this is not for you that is absolutely fine – no hard feelings – just let me know and we’ll part as friends.

For online personal training to work for you, we both have to want to be working together. To tie you into a contract would be detrimental for both of us. You might feel stuck in a programme that’s not right for you.

In addition to this, my business success comes from good results and positive feedback from clients who share their experiences in their social circles.

Tell Me About The Money Back Guarantee

Here at One Habit Coaching we’re fully committed to your success.

My promise to you is simple: follow your program as it is designed and intended to deliver you the best results possible.

I guarantee you’ll look and feel better after 12 weeks of working with me or I’ll refund your entire investment in the training programme.

The relationship between you (client) and me (your coache) is a partnership. And only through working together can the mutually beneficial goal (your results) be best achieved.

My commitment to you:

Assess and determine together realistic health and fitness goals and put them on a timeline for achievement.

Design a complete program to achieve your goals that may include:

  • Nutrition and supplementation – to fuel your body with the energy required and maintain a muscle-building fat-burning state
  • Resistance training – to increase your strength and build lean muscle
  • Cardiovascular exercise – to optimize fat burning and heart health
  • Stretching – to accelerate your recovery from exercise and prevent injury
  • Coaching – to motivate, support, and encourage you when required
  • Teach you all the components of your program and help you implement them into your daily habits and life
  • Meet with you every 2-4 weeks to assess your progress, and update your program accordingly so you continue to achieve the best possible results from your investment with us

Based on my commitment to you, I require the following from you:

  • Work out a minimum of 2–3 days per week following the One Habit Coaching program for a minimum of 12 weeks (cancelled training sessions must be made up during the same week or the following week)
  • Complete cardiovascular activity exceeding 20 minutes per day at least three times per week
  • Fill out your Accountability Food and Cardio Journal in its entirety each day
  • Follow your custom-designed nutrition plan

After the 12-week period, if you can honestly say you followed all four of the requirements and do not look or feel better than you did when you first approached me, I will refund your entire 12 week investment.

Tell Me About Habit Coaching

What Can I Expect When I Try New Habits?

You might resonate with one of the stages below in your current eating and lifestyle routines.

If you do, you’ll benefit so much from the habit coaching. It will take you from stage one to stage five over the course of a year, at which point you’ll never look back!

Stage 1: Go off track – feel bad – go further off track – feel even worse about myself – keep going off track – give up – start again after a wake up call in days or weeks time.

Stage 2: Go off track – feel bad – go further off track – acknowledge where this is going – get back on track – same day.

Stage 3: Go off track – start feeling bad then realise it was just a mistake – realise I can stop now without making things worse – get back on track straight away.

Stage 4: Start to go off track – realise don’t have to keep doing this – get back on track straight away.

Stage 5: Consider going off track – remember this does not work – decide otherwise – be forever lean and happy.*

How Is This Different To Dieting?

You’re bombarded with information. You probably know what to do and how to eat. Even if you didn’t you’d be able to find out how. We live in the information age.

The thing is, information isn’t enough. We almost never change just because we get “information”. We know that we should all be eating ‘5 a day’, exercising, limiting alcohol and not smoking. So why aren’t we all doing this?

Changing your habits helps. Sure. But what if you get stuck? If you’ve ever tried a habit-based program in the past you might have got stuck on which habits, what order, how to do them… the list goes on.

Habit-based coaching in general is a great start, and it’s a great approach. But it’s not a plan.

The answer is a well planned curriculum. A set of strategic, logical lessons and activities that go in a particular order, step by step.

It is likely that you know lots about what you should be doing. The trouble is that what you do doesn’t match what you know you should do. I coach you through a purposeful progressive plan that helps you develop your skills though a series of:

• Resources for learning
• A proven plan of action – yes you will be practising your skills daily

Starting with the fundamentals is important – just like learning anything we start at the beginning.

What sets this apart from all the information out there is that it ensures you start in the right place: with the fundamental skills you need to get and stay healthy, fit, and active for life.

Over time, you progress as you get better and more confident at doing the skills.

We then build on the fundamentals with supporting skills that are more challenging.

Importantly, we always have an escape rout. If you ever feel overwhelmed, we always have the default fundamental skills to fall back on so that you can be confident you’ll never lose the basics.

How Long Do I Need To Practice Each Habit?

When you start a new habit it will likely feel unnatural. Over time and with practice it will become automatic! On average a habit may take 2 weeks to practice, but it is perfectly fine to take longer to really get a grip on your new skill.

If you find that a skill is just too difficult for you to manage, we can work to simplify it. Make the change a smaller one that is easy to get right. From that point we can build to develop your skills – it doesn’t matter what start point you are at!

Below are the stages you are likely to experience.

Stage 1: The habit will be a challenge to maintain.

Stage 2: The habit will feel easy, but still deliberate.

Stage 3: The habit becomes automatic and happens without you thinking about it. This is the time to layer the next habit.

Will I Be Able To Do The Exercises?

Absolutely. You can scale each exercise up or down depending on your ability, your needs, your likes and dislikes.

If you are a complete beginner or have not exercised for a long period of time, starting again can be a little outside of your comfort zone.

In order to get the results that you desire, the first step is to start. And the next step is to keep going.

The best programme in the world will not be effective unless it is adhered to consistently.

With this in mind these programmes are designed to help you by being:

1. Effective

2. Time efficient

3. Simple

4. Interesting and enjoyable
